The vast planet of Gonza attracted the Victorians because it had many ecological qualities that made it suitable to live in. The land is divided into three parts that are made up of three different ecosystems. It looks like a huge pie chart with one part being all dessert and savannah, the other being a huge sea and the last being a thick rainforest. The Victorians are a people that can drink any type of water so they benefit a lot from the ocean. They prefer salt water because they can get the nutrients from the salt that are vital for their organs to function. Right were the three ecosystems meet, there is a huge plateau where the Victorians built their cities. Some Victorians traveled to the different places and established little communities there since the ecosystems are very rich in minerals and medical herbs. Some people live in oasis in the middle of the Chijara dessert where they mine for minerals such as silver, gold, diamonds and uranium which they trade with the planets nearby. The rainforest (called Malia), which is also inhabited, but by fewer people, is rich in diverse medical herbs. The Ocura ocean, although not rich in minerals that can be mined (as far as it has been researched) is the main source of electrical power for the Victorians and from all of the minerals the Victorians have managed to trade with the different planets that surround it and they have become one of the most important trading posts in he solar system.
